Job Description

A premier Legal Services firm specializing in Insurance Defense and Civil Litigation is seeking a high-caliber Associate Attorney with 3 years of litigation experience to join their growing team. This role offers an exceptional opportunity to represent clients in a wide range of complex legal matters, including personal injury, premises liability, and automobile liability claims.
Key Responsibilities

• Case Management: Manage all phases of the pre-litigation and litigation process efficiently.
• Client Advisory: Maintain consistent contact, update clients on case progress, and provide strategic legal advice.
• Legal Drafting: Draft and review pleadings, motions, discovery, and other legal documents.
• Litigation Support: Attend and handle hearings, depositions, and mediations, as well as negotiate settlements effectively.
• Strategic Analysis: Provide comprehensive legal analysis and actionable strategic recommendations to clients and insurers.
• Collaboration: Work closely with partners to ensure optimal case management and excellent client service.
• Administrative Diligence: Track billable time, expenses, and perform other administrative functions related to the practice of law.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensure: Active Georgia State Bar membership (or the ability to obtain it promptly).
• Experience: 3 to 4 years of solid litigation experience, with a strong preference for an insurance defense background.
• Skills: Exceptional legal research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Execution: Proven ability to manage a diverse caseload independently and consistently meet deadlines.
• Communication: Professional communication skills with a collaborative mindset to work effectively in a team environment.
