The part-time Appointment Scheduler works with our healthcare staff and referring offices to help us provide first-class care to our patients.
THIS POSITION WILL WORK REMOTE IN THE EVENING FROM 5pm-9pm Mon-Thurs. Must be available for in office training the first week.

Responsibilities
- Schedule new and existing patients
- Update referring offices with appointment details
- Communicate respectfully and efficiently with all team members, hospital staff and referring offices regarding patient appointments
- Ensure appropriate information is updated and entered correctly in the EHR
- Perform other tasks and related work as required
- Verify insurance benefits
Qualifications
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- 1 years of work experience as a scheduler/referral coordinator performing insurance verification, hospital or outpatient clinical office preferred
- Ability to utilize Excel
- High school Diploma/GED
- Bilingual (Spanish) - Required
