Job Description Summary / TWC Summary
Under general supervision, responsible for transporting and delivering, will pick up and drop off items while adhearing to the central intake process for all supplies and equipment received at the University Cemtral Warehouse. Ensures that merchandise received matches purchase orders. Provides set-ups and break-downs for University events, as well as, responsible for moving services campus wide.
Essential Duties Summary
- Loads, transports, and delivers items to clients/departments in a safe timely manner.
- Reviews orders before and after delivery to ensure that orders are complete, corrects and the customer is satisfied.
- Assists with loading and unloading items from vehicle.
- Accepts and returns paperwork for delivered items back to University Shipping and Receiving Department.
- Receives and prepares on-time deliveries based on the TMA Work Order Request.
- Records required information on each delivery and stores in proper location until deliver.
- Processes immediately all refrigerated items received and forwards to requesting departments.
- Produces weekly report on the receipt and disposition of all items received the previous week.
- Coordinates intra-campus moves by processing move order forms and gathering material required for moves.
- Assesses the need for inventory control measures (barcode) for controlled and capitalized items, and affix and provide documentation for said items for university customers.
- Operates equipment and machines, such as cars, trucks, forklifts, etc.
- Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

$15.50 - $19.76
Education
High School diploma or G.E.D. or equivalent education.
Required Licensing/Certification
Valid Texas Driver’s license preferred.
