Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance/Quality Control Inspector. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet the required quality standards and comply with industry regulations. This role involves conducting inspections, implementing quality control measures, and collaborating with various departments to maintain high-quality production processes.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for performing quality evaluations on standard and routine processes and products according to engineering drawings, specifications, prescribed methods, and instructions.
- Performs inspection of various operations activities.
- Identifies and reports non- conformance to known standards using various measuring and testing methods.
- May perform final adjustments & calculations.
- Generates reports of conditions found during inspection activities, notifies operations and Quality Assurance/Quality Control management of significant problems, completes documentation necessary to attest to satisfactory completion of inspection or test activities.
- May be responsible for conducting the magnetic particle and penetrant testing of parts and initiating and processing non-conformance reports.
- Assures that all products and processes represent the desired quality, safety, efficiency and reliability levels.
- Training provided on chemical products, equipment, and processes.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Degree in Chemistry (Bachelor's preferred)
- 1 year QA/QC inspector experience in Chemical Manufacturing Plant, preferred
- 2 years Chemical lab technician
- Microsoft proficient (Word, Excel, etc)
- Must have ability to interpret data, make adjustments, & calculations.
- Must be willing to learn and open to constructive criticism.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to multi-task and strong time management skills.
- Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
- Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen, and Background Check.
ROTATION/SHIFT
- Training shifts rotate - 4 weeks (various hours both day & nights -no weekends)
After training shifts rotate as follows:
- Week 1: 7 Days from 6am- 6pm.
- Week 2: 7 days off.
- Week 3: 7 nights from 6pm-6am.
- Week 4: 3 days off. & then 4 short nights from 8pm-6am.
- Week 5: 7 days off.
- Then schedule Repeats
Job Types: Temp-to-hire, Temporary
Pay: $26.00 per hour
