RESPONSIBILITIES
- Under direct supervision, the Production Planner is responsible for production order management and daily execution on the shop floor.
- This job is the first level in the Manufacturing Scheduling job family. At this level, the Production Planner has limited autonomy to deviate from established processes but is expected to develop their understanding of the principles necessary to exercise such judgment at the upper levels of the Manufacturing Scheduling job family.
- The Production Planner receives training to be able to plan and schedule routine orders for their assigned product lines and to resolve related problems affecting delivery for short-term (30 days) planning horizons.
- Performs release of production orders within acceptable guidelines, uses dispatch report to coordinate schedule execution, and performs inventory management functions to optimize material flow.
- Both desk work and working on the floor moving and prioritizing product.
QUALIFICATIONS
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 2 years Production Planner experience (in manufacturing)
- Experience in Forecasting, FP (Final Production), MRP (Material Requirements Planning), Theory of Constraints, Master Data, Engineering Change Management, and Inventory Turns
- Microsoft Excel -Highly proficiency
- SAP
- Time management, ability to respond quickly to dynamic business/mfg conditions
- Excellent communication & organizational skills
- Must be personable.
- Candidate must be able to legally work and reside in the US, without sponsorship.
- Must pass pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen, Physical, and Background Check
SHIFT
- Monday-Friday
- 7am – 4pm or 8am – 5pm
Job Type: Temporary
Pay: $31.00 per hour
