How you’ll contribute
A Nurse Aide who excels in this role provides essential support to nursing staff by performing basic patient care duties, assisting with daily living activities, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for patients.
  • Perform basic patient care tasks including hygiene, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Provide general nursing care such as patient positioning, lifting, turning, and use of assistive equipment.
  • Assist with toileting using bedpans, urinals, commodes, or ambulation.
  • Take and document vital signs including temperature, pulse, respiration, weight, height, and blood pressure, as well as intake and output measurements.
  • Assist in patient admission, transfer, and discharge, including handling personal belongings.
  • Maintain a clean and comfortable patient environment.
  • Respond promptly to patient call lights, telephone, and paging systems.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned. Employees may be directed to perform job-related tasks other than those specifically presented in this description.


What we’re looking for

  • Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

  • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

  • Effective communication and teamwork skills required.

  • Ability to prioritize patient needs in a fast-paced care setting.

  • Education: Minimum six months of experience in an acute or long-term care facility preferred.

  • Certifications: CPR/BCLS certification required.


Schedule: 3x12, Days (7a-7p), rotating weekends
