Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Licensed and insured Electrician / outdoor Lighting Installer to join our dynamic team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on innovative lighting projects, specializing in soffit lighting installations that enhance architectural aesthetics and functionality as well as concrete lighting, landscape lighting, up lighting. As a licensed professional, you will be responsible for executing electrical installations with precision, adhering to safety standards, and delivering exceptional craftsmanship on every project. Your expertise will help transform residential and commercial spaces into visually stunning environments while ensuring all work complies with electrical codes and regulations.
Duties
- Install, troubleshoot, and maintain soffit lighting systems, ensuring seamless integration with existing electrical infrastructure
- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately execute installation plans
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized electrical equipment such as ohmmeters and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to complete tasks efficiently
- Conduct low voltage and high voltage wiring in accordance with NEC (National Electrical Code) standards for safety and compliance
- Perform routine inspections of installed systems, troubleshoot issues using schematics and schematics reading skills, and perform repairs as needed
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed, including logs of inspections, tests, and compliance checks
Qualifications
- Valid electrician license with experience in industrial or commercial electrical systems
- Proven experience in construction site environments, renovation projects, or similar settings
- Strong knowledge of NEC standards, schematics reading, blueprint interpretation, and electrical code compliance
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, ohmmeters, and other electrical testing equipment
- Experience working with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), low voltage systems, high voltage wiring, and schematics
- Ability to read technical drawings accurately and execute detailed installation plans
- Handyman skills including frame carpentry or general construction experience are a plus
- Knowledge of circuit wiring for both low voltage and high voltage applications in commercial or industrial settings
- Have general liability and be insured
