We are seeking a proven, high-producing Escrow Officer with an established book of business to join a well-capitalized, growth-oriented title operation in the Houston market. This role is designed for an experienced professional who brings strong agent, broker, and lender relationships and has a demonstrated track record of closing both commercial and residential real estate transactions.

Key Responsibilities
- Independently manage a high-volume desk consisting of commercial and residential real estate transactions, including purchases, sales, refinances, development, and cash transactions
- Leverage an existing book of business while actively growing relationships with real estate agents, brokers, lenders, attorneys, and investors
- Open, examine, and clear title requirements in compliance with Texas regulations and underwriter guidelines
- Prepare, review, and approve closing documents, settlement statements, and disbursements
- Conduct and oversee closings with buyers, sellers, agents, lenders, and attorneys (in-person and remote)
- Serve as the primary point of contact throughout the transaction, providing proactive, clear communication
- Resolve complex title issues, commercial deal structures, and closing challenges efficiently
- Ensure files are balanced, funded, recorded, and compliant with company policies and state regulations
- Partner with leadership and business development teams to expand market presence
- Maintain exceptional service standards to support long-term referral growth
Qualifications & Experience
- Active Texas Escrow Officer License (required)
- Minimum of 3 years of escrow officer experience in Texas
- Demonstrated success managing a personal book of business
- Experience closing commercial transactions (including but not limited to multi-family, office, retail, land, and mixed-use)
- Strong background in residential purchase and refinance transactions
- Deep understanding of Texas title insurance, escrow procedures, and underwriting requirements
- Ability to independently manage complex, high-dollar, and time-sensitive transactions
- Proficiency with industry-standard title and escrow software systems
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills
