Role Summary
The Industrial Coatings Supervisor oversees daily field operations, ensures safety compliance, manages crew performance, and maintains quality standards on coating and blasting projects. This leader works directly with painters, blasters, and helpers to keep projects on schedule while upholding TPC’s high standards for workmanship and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and mentor industrial painters and blasting crews
- Coordinate daily tasks, manpower, and equipment needs
- Ensure strict adherence to safety rules, PPE requirements, and environmental regulations
- Oversee surface preparation, abrasive blasting, containment setup, and coating application
- Inspect work for quality, thickness, coverage, and proper curing
- Troubleshoot equipment issues (airless rigs, plural rigs, king pumps, extreme pumps, blast pots, recyclers, etc.)
- Communicate project progress with management and adjust workflow as needed
- Maintain accurate documentation: daily logs, safety reports, material usage, and equipment checklists
- Train new employees on equipment, coating systems, and TPC procedures
- Ensure compliance when working at heights, confined spaces, and high‑heat environments
- Support installation/removal of containment systems, scaffolding, and jobsite organization
Required Experience & Qualifications
- 3 years industrial coatings experience (Preferably in wastewater, water treatment, tanks, or similar)
- 1 years leadership or crew lead experience
- Strong knowledge of industrial spray equipment: airless, plural component, king pumps, etc
- Proficiency with coating systems
- Must be proficient in English; bilingual is a plus
- Ability to read job specs, follow technical instructions, and communicate clearly
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in extreme heat, confined spaces, and noisy environments

Environmental Conditions
Work is performed both indoors and outdoors, often in high heat (100 degrees), around moving mechanical parts, chemicals, fumes, dust, and vibration. Must be comfortable with heights, confined spaces, and physically demanding tasks.

Pay: From $37.50 per hour
