What are the responsibilities and job description for the EHS Admin position at Texas Pipe & Supply?
Responsibilities:
- Assist with planning and coordinating safety initiatives, recognition programs, and department initiatives.
- Scan, file, organize, and maintain accurate information within EHS systems.
- Create and format monthly wallboard presentations that will be displayed across the company.
- Create monthly calendars for safety meetings.
- Review safety observations for completeness and adherence to established requirements.
- Coordinate administrative requests between EHS and other departments as needed.
- Order safety supplies.
- Record meeting minutes.
- Assist with the coordination of Safety Committee meetings.
- Provide general administrative support to the EHS department.
Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred but not required
- 0 β 3 years of administrative or related experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
- Ability to learn and work within electronic documents and EHS management systems.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Bilingual a plus but not required
Pay: From $20.00 per hour
