Physical Therapist - Sports
Job Type: Full Time
Salary: $72,000-90,000/ Year
Clinic Location: SMASA Alamo Heights - 430 W. Sunset Rd San Antonio, TX 78209
An established clinic in the heart of the San Antonio community, we serve primarily a sports and orthopedic population including high school, university and professional sports. Our providers work closely with physicians from Sports Medicine Associates of San Antonio, who oversee the medical care of college, high school, and professional sports including, San Antonio FC, St. Mary's University, Trinity University, Texas A&M University - San Antonio, SA City Soccer, and Boerne Soccer Club among many others.

Responsibilities
You’ll achieve success by:
- Applying your clinical reasoning to assess movement dysfunction and identify underlying causes through patient history and physical examination.
- Collaboratively developing and adjusting evidence-based plans of care that reflect each patient’s goals, needs, and lifestyle.
- Delivering skilled interventions, including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, neuromuscular re-education, and modalities, to improve function and reduce pain.
- Tracking meaningful patient outcomes and adjusting your approach based on progress and clinical presentation.
- Serving as a trusted resource and advocate for your patients throughout their recovery journey.
Qualifications
- Physical Therapist Licensure in good standing in the state of Texas or currently pursuing a Doctor of Physical Therapy DPT degree
