What are the responsibilities and job description for the Portable Toilet Service Driver position at Texas Outhouse?
We are looking for professional and positive CDL/Non CDL drivers to join the Texas Outhouse team. Portable Toilet Service Driver's operate mid to heavy duty vacuum trucks. They're responsible for the servicing of our portable restrooms, hand wash stations, waste holding tanks and other equipment. All training is provided, but you're required to have or obtain a TWIC card within 90 days of employment.
Responsibilities
- Operate CDL/Non CDL vehicle in accordance with the Department of Transportation requirements as well as all local, state and federal laws
- Pre/Post safety inspections
- Efficient completion of scheduled route daily
- Communicate to dispatch or supervisor for any missed services
- Communicate to dispatch or supervisor for any safety concerns
- Vehicle cleaned daily after completion of route
Skills
- Proven experience as a Driver
- A valid driver’s license
- A clean driving record
- Familiarity with GPS devices
- Knowledge of area roads and neighborhoods
- Ability to lift 75lbs
- Availability to occasionally take weekend and night shifts
- A polite and professional disposition
- Ability to remain calm in stressful driving situations (e.g. at rush hour)'
