Job Summary And Qualifications
Daily cleaning and supplying products to patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department to meet the hospital objectives. Cleaning tools include wet mops, dust mops, wringers, vacuum, dusters, chemicals, and other necessary tools, products and supplies to meet our customer’s needs.

Job Summary And Qualifications
Daily cleaning and supplying products to patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, restrooms, offices, and other areas assigned in accordance with standard procedures of the Environmental Services Department to meet the hospital objectives. Cleaning tools include wet mops, dust mops, wringers, vacuum, dusters, chemicals, and other necessary tools, products and supplies to meet our customer’s needs.
what you will do in this role:
- Cleans rooms or assigned areas as trained according to JCAHO guidelines.
- Replenishes supplies.
- Cleans emergency spills observed or upon request.
- Follows proper safety procedures.
- Returns pages in a timely manner.
- Maintains clean equipment.
- Reports maintenance needs to Supervisor.
- Clocks in and out, signs in and out consistently to insure correct hours for payroll.
- Assists department where needed to meet needs of facility.
- Establishes and maintains good communications with facility personnel and customers.
- Uses chemicals properly and bottles labeled.
- Keeps Supervisor aware of positive and negative happenings.
- One to two years experience preferred.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent experience
