Physical Therapist – Acute Inpatient Rehab
Location: Fort Pierce, FL
Schedule: Full-time | Days | Rotating Weekends
Compensation: $36.53 – $53.20 per hour (based on years of experience)
Sign-On Bonus: Offered on a case-by-case basis
Overview:
Join a fast-paced inpatient rehab environment where clinical excellence meets compassionate care. We are looking for a Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality, patient-centered therapy services to individuals recovering from illness, surgery, or injury. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team focused on promoting recovery and improving quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide evaluations and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with physician orders
Deliver therapeutic interventions that promote functional improvement
Document progress and modify therapy plans as needed
Instruct patients, families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and equipment usage
Collaborate with nursing, case management, and other departments to ensure seamless patient care
Support discharge planning and continuum of care efforts
Qualifications:
Active Florida Physical Therapist License (or eligible)
Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy
Current BLS certification (or must obtain within 30 days of hire)
Minimum 1 year of Physical Therapy experience in a healthcare setting
Strong clinical skills and a team-focused mindset
