Compensation: $30.60 – $45.90/hour (based on experience)

• ~5 years: $34.50/hour
• ~8 years (midpoint): $38.25/hour

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated ICU RN to join our critical care team at a Level I Trauma Center and Comprehensive Stroke Center in Ocala, FL. This role offers the opportunity to care for high-acuity patients in a fast-paced 48-bed unit with strong multidisciplinary support. Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients requiring complex monitoring and interventions
• Perform assessments, develop care plans, and respond to rapidly changing patient conditions
• Administer medications, manage drips, and operate advanced monitoring equipment
• Collaborate with physicians and allied health professionals to deliver safe, effective outcomes
• Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments, and recovery expectations
• Support quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  
  

Qualifications

Required

• Active RN license in Florida or Compact state (Compact license holders must obtain FL license within 60 days of relocation)
• At least 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (within the last 3 years); higher acuity than Med-Surg preferred, but strong Med-Surg candidates considered
• ADN or Diploma in Nursing
• BLS and ACLS certifications (within 30 days of hire)
  
  

Preferred

• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) or CCRN (Critical Care Registered Nurse – Adult) within 1 year of hire
• BSN degree
• Prior ICU or MICU experience in a high-acuity setting
