Job Description
We're looking for a Registered Nurse to partner with one of our client facilities. We are looking for a nurse that is comfortable in assimilating to new facilities and new teams. Ideally, the candidate should be a responsible, gentle and well-trained professional who can provide exceptional nursing care with minimal supervision whilst following health and safety guidelines faithfully and consistently. The goal is to promote the patient's well-being by providing high quality nursing care.
Contract Detail
Position : Charge RN - ER
Location : Eden, TX
Duration : 13 weeks
Shifts :
Days, 36 / 48 hours
Travel Pay (if 50 miles or more from the facility) :
Weekly Pay
Weeks with 36 hrs - $2,359.00
Weeks with 48 hrs - $2,919.00
Detail :
Weekly Per Diem pay (non-taxed) - $1,099
Hourly - $35 / hr
Overtime starts at 40 hours
Local Pay :
Hourly Pay : $60 / hr
Overtime starts at 40 hours
Start : ASAP
Job Duties :
Work in a charge position as defined by the client
Evaluates assigned patients. Plans, implements, and documents nursing care
Assists physicians during examinations and procedures
Monitor patient's condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care.
Observe and interpret patient's symptoms and communicate them to physicians.
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to devise individualized care plans for patients.
Perform routine procedures and fill in patient's charts.
Adjust and administer patient's medication(s) and provide treatments according to the physician's orders.
Inspect the facilities and act to maintain excellent hygiene and safety (decontaminating equipment, sanitizing surfaces, preparing beds etc.).
Provide instant medical care in emergencies.
Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families.
Requirements
Minimum of an Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited RN program. Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in Texas, or license with a compact state required upon hire
Certifications :
Approved Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)
A minimum of two (2) years of RN experience in an acute care setting preferred
