Responsibilities
- Pick, pack, and prepare parts orders accurately using RF scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure timely delivery.
- Load and unload shipments
- Manage shipping and receiving processes, verifying incoming inventory against purchase orders and documenting discrepancies.
- Maintain organized storage of parts on pallets or shelves, utilizing materials handling equipment for efficient space utilization.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counts to ensure stock accuracy.
- Support warehouse supervision by adhering to safety protocols, assisting with process improvements, and maintaining a clean, safe work environment.
Experience
- Proven warehouse distribution experience with a strong understanding of order picking, shipping & receiving procedures, and materials handling.
- Mechanical knowledge related to parts handling or construction materials is a plus.
- Previous supervisory experience in a warehouse environment is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while maintaining attention to detail during order picking and load/unload tasks.
