Company Overview
Nail Salon is looking for a dedicated, goal-oriented Operations/Salon manager. The Operations & Salon Manager is accountable for all day-to-day operations and supply inventory. In addition, the Manager works closely with the owner(s) to help oversee human resource management, public relations/marketing, customer service/relationship management, and fiscal accountability.

Essential Functions
  • Responsible for training and the proper execution of the service protocols by Nail Specialists.
  • Leader and a key player in the implementation of our Guest Experience. The goal is to exceed customer expectations from initial inquiry to ongoing guest relationship management.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate supply inventory for site operations.
  • Assist in marketing and public relations.
  • Lead in human resource management. Responsible for Nail Technicians and Studio Receptionists schedules and coverage during all working hours and coordination of time off requests. Duties also include hiring/firing, disciplinary action, training, and development.
  • Responsible for constant monitoring of safety and sterilization standards for all individuals (internal customers, external customers, vendors, visitors, volunteers/interns) within our facility or on our physical grounds.
  • Responsible for recognizing and communicating with the owner(s) regarding areas for process improvement. Assist in planning and implementation of ongoing process improvement.
  • Accountable for efficient and effective day-to-day operations that achieve service standards and fiscal outcomes. This starts with leading Daily Morning Meeting and includes assisting with the development of policies and procedures to accomplish these standards.
  • Responsible for being a working manager, which means all essential functions indicated in Nail Tech and Receptionist roles and responsibilities.
  • Other duties as assigned in the spirit of teamwork.

Additional Functions
  • Overall studio and employee cleanliness and appearance.
  • Overall studio maintenance, repair, and upkeep
  • Participate in defined community outreach requirements (volunteerism).

Qualifications
Required:
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Leadership Skills and behavior
  • Exceptional Customer Service Skills
Preferred:
  • 2 years Management Experience
  • 2 years Beauty Industry Experience
