What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bilingual Spanish Account Manager – Medicare Insurance Agents position at Texas Medicare Solutions (TMS)?
About Us
TMS Insurance Brokerage is a top-performing Medicare-focused Field Marketing Organization (FMO) based in San Antonio, Texas. We empower independent agents to thrive — not just sell — by providing modern technology, hands-on support, and a community-first culture. We are known for treating agents like family and delivering the tools they need to succeed in Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplement, and ancillary insurance sales.
Position Summary
This is our internal Agent Success Manager role — a bilingual account manager and recruiter who closes licensed insurance agents into our FMO and then serves as their main point of contact.
You will meet with pre-scheduled agent prospects, close them into our network, and own the relationship from that point forward. This position is part sales, part relationship management. You'll be responsible for helping agents get started, stay active, and reach their full potential. This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who enjoys consultative selling, building trust, and guiding others to success.
Key Responsibilities
- Meet with pre-set appointments (via Zoom or in-person) to present the TMS opportunity to licensed insurance agents.
- Follow up consistently with leads using our CRM system to move them from interest to commitment.
- Own the recruiting "close" — this is a sales role, and you are expected to convert agent leads into active contracts.
- Guide agents through onboarding, certifications, and first steps to begin selling Medicare products.
- Serve as the main point of contact for the agents you bring in, offering regular check-ins and help with issues or questions.
- Monitor agent performance and proactively support them to stay productive.
- Coordinate with internal teams (contracting, sales, tech) to ensure smooth onboarding and activation.
- Stay informed on Medicare industry updates, compliance guidelines, and carrier offerings.
Qualifications
- 1 year of experience in sales, recruiting, or account management.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Strong ability to present and close during virtual or in-person meetings.
- Tech-savvy; comfortable using CRMs and managing appointment workflows.
- Texas Life & Health Insurance License required (or must be willing to obtain — we provide support and resources to help you get licensed quickly).
- Medicare product knowledge is a plus, but not required — willingness to learn quickly is.
- Bilingual (Spanish) is required.
Compensation & Benefits
- Base Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience
- Supplemental Pay: Performance-based commission tied to agent production — top performers earn meaningfully above base
- Health, dental, and vision insurance
- 401(k) with company match
- Three weeks of Paid Time Off (PTO)
- Monday–Friday schedule — no weekends
- Supportive, growth-focused environment with real career potential
Salary : $50,000 - $65,000
