Duties
- Perform routine and preventive maintenance on manufacturing equipment and facility systems to minimize downtime.
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues using schematics, ohmmeters, and CMMS software.
- Repair or replace defective components, including welding repairs and electrical wiring.
- Operate and interpret schematics for complex systems involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Conduct residential painting as needed for facility upkeep or improvement projects.
- Supervise maintenance activities, providing guidance to junior technicians or contractors when necessary.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using CMMS systems.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and environmental regulations during all maintenance procedures.
- Assist in facilities maintenance tasks such as plumbing, HVAC, or general repairs to support overall plant operations.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal client needs promptly and professionally.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance with strong mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, and electrical systems.
- Skilled in welding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical manuals effectively.
- Experience with CMMS software for work order management and documentation.
- Familiarity with Ohmmeters, multimeters, and other diagnostic tools for electrical troubleshooting.
- Strong supervisory or leadership experience is preferred to oversee maintenance teams or projects.
- Excellent communication skills in English to coordinate with team members and other departments.
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work, welding, and general facilities maintenance.
