After-School Site Worker (Part-Time)
Pay: $15.00–$20.00 per hour

Texas Kids Nutrition is seeking dependable, energetic, and caring After-School Site Workers to help create a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for youth ages 3–18 while supporting our federally funded At-Risk Afterschool Program.

What You'll DoSupervise & Support Students
- Provide active supervision of children during program hours.
- Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive environment.
- Encourage teamwork, participation, and positive behavior.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants.
- Respond appropriately to behavioral concerns and emergencies.
Meal Service
- Serve nutritious meals and snacks in accordance with CACFP requirements.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and health standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming meal service area.
- Accurately record meal counts and required documentation.
Enrichment Activities
- Assist with educational, recreational, and enrichment activities.
- Encourage healthy lifestyles and positive social interactions.
- Help create a fun and engaging after-school experience.
Documentation & Compliance
- Maintain accurate attendance records.
- Complete required CACFP documentation.
- Submit incident reports and other program records as needed.
- Follow all organizational policies and state regulations.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with fellow staff members and program leadership.
- Communicate professionally with parents, guardians, school staff, and supervisors.
- Support daily program operations to ensure successful site management.
What We're Looking For
- Experience working with children in a school, daycare, camp, recreation, church, or youth program setting preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and professional.
- Positive attitude with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus for select locations.
- CPR/First Aid Certification is preferred.
- Must successfully pass all required background checks and meet applicable state requirements.
Physical Requirements
- Stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
- Lift up to 25 pounds.
- Participate in both indoor and outdoor activities.
- Respond quickly during emergencies when necessary.
Compensation & Benefits
- $15.00–$20.00 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)
