About the job:
Texas Instruments is looking for a skilled Facilities Technician to join our team. As a Facilities Technician, you will perform technical tasks in support of engineering and maintenance activities involving the construction, design, specification, startup and operation of the facility’s mechanical, chemical and electrical systems or the installation of semiconductor manufacturing tools.
Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate all electrical manufacturing tool and support equipment installations, including design reviews, scheduling, floor layouts and budgets.
- Ensure MISTI drawings are accurate and reviewed with EEs, ESH and Facilities systems owners
- Ensure tools are installed within the agreed upon duration and within set budget
- Oversight of all electrical MEI field activity performed by TI and Contract personnel. Attend tool negotiations as required
- Approve and sign work authorizations, change notices, tracking forms and invoices
- Coordinate and oversee all contractor daily activities
- Perform field Safety and Reliability audits
- Ownership and coordination of routine electrical activities and requests for Fab modules
- Detailed knowledge and coordination of project scopes as needed between MEI and MERFEI scopes of work
- Knowledge and coordination of Facilities Requested Services related scope of work
- Partner housekeeping (5S) with contractors and EEs
- Familiarity and/or ability to manage electrical drawings
- Support of building electrical systems as needed
Minimum requirements:
- Should have a minimum 5 years of related experience
- High school diploma/GED
- Journeyman Electricians License
Preferred qualifications:
- Working knowledge of MS Excel, AutoCAD and PowerPoint
- Working knowledge of SAP or ability to learn within 3 months
- Ability to work overtime as needed for project support and ramp activities
- Experienced in the use of ESM (Electrical System Manager)
- High Resistance Ground Training
- Ability to collaborate and work with team members across all levels in the organization.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once, delivering results and best reliability.
- Strong project management skills needed to support internal projects such as expansions, moves and rearranges, and building upgrades. Financial management, document control and project documentation.
- Ability to develop financial forecasts for all maintenance activity based on available history, current data and future estimates.
- Motivated, self-directed and flexible, possessing good judgment and problem solving skills.
- Strong teaming, negotiation skills and ability to successfully influence others through collaboration within and across organizations. Must be able to deliver clear, concise and timely oral and written communications.
- Good communication skills along with customer relations.
- Strong leadership qualities with ability to positively influence overall team performance and earn followership. Understand and promote WWF vision of Strong, Winning Teams and Right Results, Right Behaviors.
