The Giving and Volunteering internship experience is geared toward a passionate and community-minded individual who has an interest in:
- Hands-on experience in corporate citizenship at a company with almost 100 years of community investment history
- Community service and gaining a deeper understanding of how TI’s corporate citizenship efforts help build stronger communities and our company’s culture
- Professional development, mentorship and insight gained from TI’s experienced Giving and Volunteering team
- TI’s culture of innovation and integrity that extends from our strategy in community engagement
- Building relationships with TI’s community partners
- Project management and communications
Minimum requirements:
- Currently pursuing an undergraduate degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, Journalism or related field
- Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA
- An interest or previous internship experience in nonprofit management or a related field
- Self-motivated with a positive, collaborative attitude that embodies TI's values of integrity, innovation, and commitment
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with on-time project delivery
- Competency in building strong, influential relationships
- Previous volunteer experience preferred
