We are seeking an energetic, responsible intern to support the Professional Learning and Engagement team in the Division of College andCareerAdvising.As thestate'sdefinitivesourceforcollegeandcareer planning, wedevelopandprovide digitaltools andresources for educators, students, and families to helpstudents make the best decisions about life after high school. This positionwould work on projects related to Texas OnCourse, My Texas Future and Apply Texas, and Financial Aid professional learning. To be successful in this position, the candidate should be willing to helpwith any tasks assigned by a supervisor that supports team and division initiatives. This work involves supporting active and incoming projects as well as assisting with outreach efforts. The duties and responsibilities will requireworkingupto20hoursperweek primarily remotelywith2 days in theofficerequirements.ThispositionreportstotheDirectorofProfessional Learning and Engagement, and works with a Senior Implementation Coordinator, Professional Learning Coordinator, and a Marketing Coordinator.

- Supportlearningeventsbydevelopingmaterials,checkingcontent,andcreatingpresentationsusedtoprovideprofessional learning to educators.
- Trackandawardcontinuingeducationcreditforlearningsessionsand events.
- Create engagement activities for professional learning events, The My Texas Future Recognition Program and Academy Learning Community.
- Provide technical support using Zoom and Teams by organizing and scheduling learning events, maintaining contact lists to optimize marketing and communication efforts.
- Coordinatedatabysummarizingeducatorfeedbackandprovidingsummary reports. Maintain and update CRM contacts using Hubspot to communicate with K-12 and higher education stakeholder groups.
- Completes basic formatting and light design work done using Microsoft Office and Power Point applications while adhering to brand guidelines.
- Assists with editing and organizing content to improve readability and accessibility for student and family audiences.
- Monitorprogressandtracking systemsusingSmartsheets,Excel,dashboards,websites,andothertechnical tools
- Develops and tests surveys for various target audiences to provide continuous feedback on content and resources via Qualtrics or another survey administration tool.
- Works collaboratively with division staff and external partners to meet project deadlines.
- Performsclericalduties,takenotes,maintainfiles,consolidating,andorganizedocumentsas needed.
- Supports ongoing research efforts of all available content and resources focused on college and career readiness.
- Performs related work as assigned.
- Knowledge of college and career readiness milestones, including career exploration, preparation, applying to college and for financial, etc.
- Skilled in working with computers, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel).
- Skilled in oral and written communication.
- Skilled in solving problems and developing efficient processes.
- Ability to work independently without supervision.
- Ability to organize, analyze, and present data in a format appropriate to intended audiences.
- Ability to play close attention to detail.
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Qualifications
Required Minimum Education and Experience:
- High school degree or equivalent
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate in an accredited university/college program as a sophomore or higher.
- Currently enrolled as an undergraduate or graduate in an accredited university/college program as a junior or higher.
- Minimum of 1 – 2 years of experience working in an office or professional setting.
- Six months of additional relevant full-time work experience may substitute for 15 semester credit hours of required education, up to four years.
- Experience with Zoom, Teams, Qualtrics, and project management tools like Smartsheet, Trello, and Asana.
