Work hours: Full Time Days (6:45 AM – 7:15 PM) for 36 hours/week. Weekend and holiday requirements
Department Highlights:
Justin 5 – Surgical Trauma PCU & Burn Unit
Justin 5 is a 35‑bed Surgical Trauma Progressive Care Unit (PCU) and Burn Unit. On August 10, the unit will open with 18 surgical trauma PCU beds and 9 burn beds, with plans to expand to the full 35 beds later in the year. This unit provides higher‑acuity surgical trauma and burn care, including treatment in a dedicated hydrotherapy procedure room for the burn population. Although patient populations differ, this is one integrated unit, and staff are expected to work across both care areas.
- RN staffing ratio: 1:3
- PCT staffing ratio: 1:9-12
- Positions require 12‑hour shifts with rotating weekends and holidays. Team members may be placed on call for regularly scheduled shifts in response to census fluctuations.
