Position Summary
The Director of Quality, Patient Safety and Risk Management will serve as a resource for Texas Health Kaufman by offering value-added knowledge and expertise in improving outcomes and providing safe, timely, cost-effective, person-centered care. This position is responsible for sustaining a culture of high reliability, ongoing process improvement and continuous regulatory readiness to ensure the safety of our stakeholders.
Reporting to the Hospital Channel COO, direct reports to this position include the Presidents Texas Health Cleburne, President Texas Health Stephenville, the President/CNO of Texas Health Azle, President/CNO Texas Health Kaufman, the AVP Health Technology Management, Senior Director System Facilities Management, and the Director of EMS Strategy/Relations. In addition, serves as a THR Board representative and managing executive of the following physician joint ventured hospitals: Texas Health Rockwall, Texas Health Flower Mound, Texas Health Institute for Surgery, Texas Health Southlake, Texas Health Center for Diagnostics & Surgery and Texas Health Heart and Vascular Hospital. The SVP will have oversight of the system ancillary support services workgroups.
