Summary
The Director of Clinical Innovation and Outcomes plans, implements and directs the development of hospital wide improvements in the delivery of Patient-Family Centered Care and Patient/Family experience, partners with system Magnet resources to collaborate on entity designation, working with Nurse Scientists on Evidence Based Practices, and new research.
Maintains oversight and serves as entity liaison for Faith Community Nursing, Community Benefits Tracking, and partners in the DAT program. Management and oversight of entity RCB deployment, Social Media Champion, Employee Engagement and assists in Nursing Peer Review.
Job Duties
Develop, implement, and monitor program initiatives to advance THD's patient safety and stakeholder satisfaction. Employee engagement initiatives.
Works directly with all patient care providers (nursing, professional, ancillary, medical staff, Nurse Scientist and mid-level practitioners) to advance engagement, development, research and Evidence Based Practice, standardization and high reliability. RCB deployment/education.
Partners with leadership team in achieving top decile KPI performance, assesses and make recommendations to strategy resources, goals and tactics and structure of nursing and other projects for continued entity growth. Establishes goals based on best practices, external data and benchmarks.
Social media champion/TV monitor
Partners with system Magnet resources to collaborate on entity designation including coordination for Pathway to Excellence, and NDNQI. Supports Nursing Peer Review. 25%
Serves as THD's liaison for Faith Community nursing with the Texas Health system program director and Monitors Community Benefits Tracking
