What are the responsibilities and job description for the OB/GYN Sonographer position at Texas Health Care PLCC?
JOB DUTIES :
- Follow standard protocol as per AIUM guidelines for OB/GYN sonography.
- Demonstrates the ability to produce appropriate and quality images.
- Assembles and presents all exam data for the physician in a timely manner.
- Keys data and patient info into EHR to generate report of diagnostic findings.
- Assists the physician with ultrasound-guided procedures as needed.
- Displays adaptability, flexibility, prioritization, and assistance to co-sonographers and physicians.
- Clean and stock the exam room and maintain equipment.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Graduate of an accredited program for sonographers.
- Current ARDMS registration in obstetrics.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Maintain and promote HIPAA/OSHA compliance.
- Hours: 3032 hours per week
- Monday Wednesday: Baylor
- Thursday: Hulen
- Friday: Available as needed for coverage
Pay range will be based on experience
