Responsibilities
- Deliver outstanding food service by greeting guests, taking orders, and ensuring prompt, friendly interactions that enhance the dining experience
- Assist with food preparation and cooking, maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness in accordance with health regulations
- Support kitchen operations through meal assembly, food handling, and proper knife skills to ensure efficient service flow
- Help with menu planning and ingredient organization to streamline kitchen productivity and maintain quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area and kitchen workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times
- Cater special events or group functions as needed, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork in high-pressure situations
- Ensure compliance with all food safety standards, including proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices
Qualifications
- Prior experience in dietary departments or as a dietary aide is highly desirable
- Experience working in fine dining or upscale restaurant environments is preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food industry best practices
- Demonstrated skills in food handling, meal preparation, and catering services
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in basic culinary techniques
- Background in restaurant or kitchen experience that highlights food safety awareness and customer service excellence
