Texas Family Wellness Clinic (TFWC) is a family medical clinic, specializing in family medicine serving the Coastal Bend Area.  TFWC is offering the opportunity to be part of a growing practice that supports a well-seasoned Family Physician that has been practicing for 20 years in the North Corpus Christi/Calallen area & mostly serves patients in the surrounding rural communities.  The TFWC’s philosophy of medicine is to improve the lifestyle of the patient, not just manage their illnesses.  We value the simple “back-to-the-basics” approach that we must provide our body with the proper nutrition it needs to heal itself with alternative tactics that can be used in-parallel with standard care practices used in modern medicine. Pay: $118,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year

Role Description

- Diagnosing & treating illnesses and injuries under the direction of the Owner/Physician of clinic.

- Managing patients with chronic conditions

- Ordering & interpreting lab tests

- Performing physical examinations

- Prescribing medications & treatments

- Providing patient education

- Oversee & Perform procedures such as IV insertion, specimen collection processing, IV infusions, joint injections, skin biopsies, toenail removal, abcess drainage, skin tag removals, & pap smears (training provided).

- Utilize electronic medical record systems (eClinicalWorks) to document patient encounters accurately

- Provide care for assigned Patients w/ the Chronic Care Management & Remote Patient Monitoring Program

- Review IV Center Patient Applications & reach out to patients as needed

- Conduct In-Person Clinic Visits & Telemedicine Visits with Established Patients

- Schedule: Rotation through two locations Southside Clinic/Primary Care: Monday - Saturday from 8am to 5pm & Calallen Clinic: Monday - Friday from 8am to 5pm. Rotating Saturdays w/ one day off during the week, and one weekday tele-medicine.

- Become familiar & respect Owner/Physician's philosophy of practicing medicine.

- Become familiar with the use of Dietary Supplementation for treating illnesses, using Standard Process & other products offered for sale in clinic.
