Job Summary
Performs clerical work and special events support in areas such as project management and facilities management. Work involves data entry, compiling and tabulating data, maintaining files, planning and implementing an agency program, and vendor and event/filming oversight. Works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Essential Functions
Assists with project management and special event support.
Assist with event clean-up including placement of cones and signs for tailgate and special events.
Assists with monitoring and coordination of vendors and special event partners.
Assists with monitoring and providing directions to film production crews on State property.
Reviews, edits, and reconciles discrepancies in reports, correspondence, records, and other related forms.
Answers questions regarding directions, policies and procedures, assists the public and staff in filling out forms, and provides information to the public by phone and email.
Assembles, organizes, and tabulates data; performs data entry and retrieval.
Reviews forms for completeness and routes for signatures to proper entries.
Provides support and collaborates in the planning, development, implementation, analysis and documentation of the department programs.
Serves as a liaison to staff and the public to assist in explaining program specifics and requirements.
Markets programs to the public and other state agencies to encourage and/or improve interest in the programs.
Files and maintains forms, records, and documents.
May maintain office schedules and appointments.
May make arrangements for repairs and services.
May deliver or pick up documents, supplies, equipment, or materials.
Performs related work as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university.
Experience in field related to the agency program.
Experience with program management or special event/film support.
