Duties
- Provide strategic leadership by setting clear goals and guiding the organization toward achieving its mission and vision.
- Develop, implement, and evaluate programs that support individuals with developmental disabilities, ensuring they meet community needs and organizational standards.
- Manage organizational operations including budgeting, resource allocation, and administrative functions to ensure efficiency and sustainability.
- Supervise staff members across various departments, fostering a collaborative environment that promotes professional growth and high performance.
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with community partners, stakeholders, families, and funding agencies to enhance service delivery and organizational reputation.
- Oversee compliance with all regulatory requirements related to behavioral health, social work practices, and program management.
- Lead fundraising efforts, grant writing, and resource development initiatives to secure financial stability for ongoing programs.
Experience
- Proven management experience in a leadership role within social services or nonprofit organizations serving individuals with developmental disabilities or behavioral health needs.
- Extensive program development experience with a track record of designing innovative services that improve client outcomes.
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities, understanding their unique needs and challenges.
- Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels including families, community partners, staff, and funders.
- Solid administrative experience encompassing budgeting, financial oversight, reporting, and compliance requirements.
- Supervising experience leading diverse teams in fast-paced environments while fostering a positive organizational culture.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices combined with social work expertise is highly desirable for effective program oversight.
