Duties
- Perform comprehensive vehicle exterior washing, including hand washing, drying, and applying protective coatings to enhance vehicle appearance
- Conduct vehicle paint correction and buffing using automotive buffers to remove scratches, swirl marks, and surface imperfections
- Detail vehicle interiors by cleaning carpets, upholstery, dashboards, windows, and vents to achieve a spotless finish
- Use cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, vacuums, auto buffers, and specialized detailing tools safely and effectively
- Follow safe work practices at all times, including proper handling of cleaning chemicals and heavy lifting techniques
- Maintain vehicle cleanliness during service by inspecting for dirt or debris and ensuring the vehicle remains presentable throughout the process
- Provide excellent customer service by explaining services performed and addressing any questions or concerns professionally
Skills
- Experience operating standard passenger cars with manual transmissions confidently
- Knowledge of auto detailing processes including buffing, polishing, cleaning, and paint correction techniques
- Familiarity with vehicle exterior washing methods and interior detailing procedures
- Ability to use various cleaning equipment safely and efficiently in an auto detailing or janitorial environment
- Strong understanding of safe work practices related to heavy lifting, chemical handling, and equipment operation
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude and clear communication abilities
- Prior experience in auto detailing facilities or car wash environments is highly desirable but not required
