The position is primarily warehouse-based, meaning you'll work day-to-day in conditions subject to the elements and changing weather. Core responsibilities include the mechanical assembly of non-energized electrical components, conducting leak inspections, and delivering timely resolutions to customer issues. Key Responsibilities
- Must be able and willing to do physical, labor-intensive work.
- Day-to-day job resides in Warehouse environment, subject to the elements of weather.
- Mechanically assemble non-energized electrical components.
- Inspects area for leaks and provides resolutions to customer issues.
- Knowledge and use of Personal Protective Equipment.
- Troubleshoot and employ critical thinking skills throughout each day.
- Ability to follow safe work practices including daily testing and inspection of assigned tools and equipment.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- 3 years’ experience preferred.
- Gained full proficiency in broad range of skills related the metering.
- Experience using Handheld devices; Computer systems.
Physical Requirements
- Must be able to work in outdoor areas, subject to the elements.
- Must be able to stand, sit, bend, pull, twist, push, and pull for sustained periods of time.
- Must be able to have finger dexterity for mechanical assembly.
- Able to operate a computer and other office machinery using finger dexterity for typing and writing.
- Must be able to communicate, converse with, and exchange information by means of the spoken word.
- Able to perform physical effort to lift or move materials up to 50 pounds.
- Visual acuity to view a computer screen.
