Job Duties:This position reports to the Coffield or Powledge Metal Fab Facility depending upon the vacancies, on a daily basis. Duties will include establishing program goals and objectives. Developing program guidelines, policies and procedures, schedules, priorities, and standards for achieving program goals. Evaluation program activities, budget requests, and the supervision of others. You'd be a GOOD fit if:You have two years of experience in metal fabrication or five years' experience in any production or manufacturing operation. Welding certification obtained by completing 30 semester hours may substitute for one year of experience. One year experience in the supervision of employees or inmates.You'd be a GREAT fit if:You have knowledge of quality control standards to maintain satisfactory levels of production. You have knowledge of production and workflow procedures to include various routine and complex technical metal fabrication operations and equipment. You have great communication skills and can communicate your ideas, and instructions clearly to staff, administration, officials, agencies, organizations and the public. You have skills to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures along with problem-solving techniques.
