I. JOB SUMMARY
Performs highly complex inventory and retail sales work. Work involves stocking, arranging, and transferring inventory; displaying and selling merchandise; ensuring compliance with established security requirements, loss prevention controls, and procedures; and providing guidance to others. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
II. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
A. Oversees inventory control operations; develops and implements inventory control policies, procedures, and guidelines; reconciles inventory records with asset accounting records; resolves inventory reporting discrepancies; and disposes of surplus property.
B. Oversees and coordinates the inventory purchasing process; researches and prepares product specifications; and reviews and approves requisitioning of goods and products to replenish inventory.
C. Prepares, reviews, and monitors inventory control, stock control records, and procurement records; prepares and submits requirements to establish blanket orders for agency procurement of standard hardware and related consumable supplies; and verifies the receipt of inventory and merchandise shipments and oversees the loading and unloading of stock equipment and consumable supplies.
D. Maintains liaison with program staff; coordinates delivery resolution issues and technical problems with transportation vendors.
E. Maintains the logistical distribution system in the warehouse; procures, receives, stores, maintains, distributes, packagers, and ships equipment to meet requirements; and disposes of equipment that no longer meets the need of the agency.
F. Providers guidance to others; trains employees to accomplish necessary tasks to fulfill job functions to include warehouse operations and accountability procedures.

III. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
A. Education, Experience, and Training
1. Graduation from an accredited senior high school or equivalent or GED.
2. Four years full-time, wage-earning inventory management, program administration, or warehouse operations experience.
3. Experience in information technology, telecommunications, or a computer customer service environment preferred.
4. Experience in current version of Microsoft Office Suite or equivalent to include word processing, spreadsheet, database, or presentation software programs preferred.
- Ability to maintain the security and integrity of critical infrastructure as it is defined by the state.
B. Knowledge and Skills
1. Knowledge of warehouse operations and inventory management practices and procedures.
2. Knowledge of inventory and stock control record keeping methods and procedures.
3. Knowledge of state laws, rules, regulations, and statutes governing state purchasing and distribution preferred.
4. Knowledge of agency and departmental organizational structure, policies, procedures, rules, and regulations preferred.
5. Skill to communicate ideas and instructions clearly and concisely.
6. Skill to coordinate with other staff, departments, officials, agencies, organizations, and the public.
7. Skill to interpret and apply rules, regulations, policies, and procedures.
8. Skill in problem-solving techniques.
9. Skill to review technical data and prepare technical reports.
10. Skill to prepare and maintain accurate records, files, and reports.
11. Skill in the use of computers and related equipment in a stand-alone or local area network environment.
IV. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS WITH OR WITHOUT REASONABLE ACCOMMODATION
A. Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, push, stoop, reach above the shoulder, grasp, pull, bend repeatedly, climb stairs, identify colors, hear with aid, see, write, count, read, speak, analyze, alphabetize, lift and carry 15-44 lbs., perceive depth, operate a motor vehicle, and operate motor equipment.
B. Conditions include working inside, working around machines with moving parts and moving objects, radiant and electrical energy, working closely with others, working alone, working protracted or irregular hours, and traveling by car, van, bus, and airplane.
C. Equipment (machines, tools, devices) used in performing only the essential functions include computer and related equipment, calculator, copier, fax machine, telephone, forklift, pallet jack, dolly, and automobile
