What are the responsibilities and job description for the Host/Hostess position at Texas De Brazil?
This is an hourly position that requires nights, weekend & holiday availability.
We are now accepting applications, interviewing, hiring/training potential applicants to join the Texas de Brazil team in Rancho Cucamonga, CA! Our Restaurant Host(s) welcome and warmly greet guests upon arrival. Host(s) answer the phones in a positive and friendly manner & manage the efficient and timely seating of guests to tables.
- Practice teamwork
- Perform basic opening/closing side work
- Answer questions about food, beverages, and style of service
- Accept and manage to-go and 3rd party food orders
- When possible, open the front door for guests entering or leaving the restaurant
- Notify party when table becomes available
- Provide guests with estimated waiting time
- Accommodate special seating requests for guests whenever possible
- Upon seating, offer guests menu and inform them of their server’s name. Inspect table for proper presentation and completeness
- Assist team members as needed
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them to return
Our hours of operation are as follows:
- Mon - Wed: 4pm - 9pm
- Thurs: 12pm-3:30pm, 4pm-9pm
- Fri : 12pm-3:30pm, 4pm - 10pm
- Sat : 12pm - 10pm
- Sun : 12pm - 9pm
- Holiday hours may vary
