Texas Curb Cut / Texas Cutting & Coring are currently accepting applications for a “Shop Mechanic” for our San Antonio, Texas location. All interested individuals are required to complete a job application online.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will be required to possess…

• Demonstrates an enthusiastic and positive attitude
• Must have a clean/ valid “Texas” Drivers License
• Must be able to pass “Drug Test”
• Manual/ physical labor will need to lift 60 Lbs or more and be mobile
• Must be authorized to work in the United States via (E-Verify)
  
  

Qualifications

The ideal candidate would possess 3-5 years experience as a mechanic in a similar industry requiring the same level of responsibility and be willing to work long hours.

• The technician must be the self-motivated, detail-oriented, punctual and dependable team player
• Professional and have a strong work ethic
• Possess effective communication skills; both oral and written
• Must not be afraid of hard work
• Have the ability to work a flexible schedule – including nights/weekends as needed
• Potential/ Occasional travel out of town/ state
• Help maintain a drug-free work environment
  
  

Additional Skills/ Information

• Be able to work independently and in a team setting
• Knowledge working a wide range of maintenance issues on trucks & small equipment
• Working experience with diesel engines, electrical and hydraulic components
• Welding (ARC, MIG or TIG) and fabrication experience a plus
• Interested candidates must provide their own tools
• Bilingual in English & Spanish is a Plus
