WINERY TASTING ROOM ATTENDANT - SHARE YOUR PASSION FOR WINE!
Lawton Ridge Winery is a family-owned estate winery in Kalamazoo, MI. We craft wine and cider in small batches, highlighting the beauty of Southwest Michigan terroir and agriculture.
We need someone who lights up when talking to people. You'll pour wine and cider, educate guests on our story and winemaking process, and create memorable tasting experiences. We'll teach you everything about wine. You just need to be excited about sharing it.
What you'll do:
- Lead tastings and educate guests on our wines, ciders, and spirits (coming soon!)
- Build relationships with guests and grow our Wine Club
- Suggest and sell wine and cider
- Handle point-of-sale transactions and money
- Open, close, stock, clean, package shipments
- Help with special events on weekends and evenings
What we need:
- Super friendly and guest focused
- Excited about teaching people (we'll teach you the wine knowledge)
- Self-motivated and solution oriented
- Team player who helps out
- Weekend availability required

Basic wine knowledge is helpful but not required. Alcohol server certification (TAM/TIPS) preferred but not required.
Must be able to lift 30 pounds and stand for up to 6 hours.
Pay: $14-$16 / hour, plus tips (Usually $8-$12/hour average)
