Conduct and/ or assist with highly advanced technical reviews and evaluations of applications, reports, and plans of various levels of complexity pertaining to waste management; determine compliance with applicable laws, rules, technical principles, policies, and procedures; and process to completion.
Oversee and assure the quality and timeliness of customer service by work group staff for both internal and external customers; contribute to the divisionand#8217;s commitment toward continuous improvement.
Assist with the hiring process and staff development activities, and provide input into performance management decisions KEY QUALIFICATIONSExperience assigning workloads, reviewing work, assisting with preparing and administering performance appraisals, assuring staff development, etc.
Qualifications: REQUIRED EDUCATION EXPERIENCEExperience in the administration of a program relevant to assignmentOrGraduation from an accredited four-year college or university with major course work in a field relevant to assignment Employees in this classification series may research, work on, or have access to critical infrastructure, including but not limited to a communication infrastructure system, cybersecurity system, electric grid, hazardous waste treatment system, or water treatment facility. See Tex. Business Commerce Code Section 117.001(2). Accordingly, the ability to maintain the security or integrity of the infrastructure is a requirement to be hired for and to continue to be employed with TCEQ.
