Summary: Responsible for managing all aspects of Syndication transactions, including due diligence, structuring, negotiation, documentation, closing, and post-closing administration in coordination with internal teams (Originations, Credit Risk Management, Loan Administration) and external partners (Borrower’s counsel, loan sale advisors). Responsibilities: • Manage all aspects of syndicated loans, including structuring, underwriting, negotiation, execution, closing, booking, and ongoing administration. • Responsible for maintaining accurate records related to each transaction, including borrower information, loan documents, compliance documents, and collateral files. • Coordinate and manage external resources such as law firms, accountants, appraisers, brokers, and loan sale advisors. • Communicate regularly with internal and external clients to provide updates on loan progress and address any questions or concerns. • Collaborate with various departments within the bank, including credit risk management, loan administration, operations, legal, compliance, and regulatory affairs. • Negotiate terms and conditions with borrowers and their representatives. • Prepare presentations and memoranda for senior management and regulators. • Stay informed about market trends, industry developments, and changes in regulations affecting syndicated lending. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field; Master's degree preferred. • At least ten years of experience in commercial banking, preferably with a focus on syndicated lending. • Strong understanding of financial modeling, credit analysis, and risk management principles. • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. • Knowledge of loan origination systems and credit risk management software. • Familiarity with FINRA licensing requirements and SEC regulations related to loan sales.
