Responsibilities
- Responsible for safely performing all ongoing operations of the brine treatment unit - utilizing both computerized and in-field instrumentation.
- Requires 24/7 in-plant monitoring of levels, flows, and pressures throughout the brine treatment facility.
- Requires a 12-hour rotating shift - working nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Demonstrate clear and effective communication during shift changes with fellow operators.
- Possess the ability to troubleshoot and respond to equipment failures and/or plant process issues.
- Adhere to all Environmental, Health, Safety, and Security Policies.
- Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations.
- Work outdoors in varying and inclement weather conditions.
- Handle multiple chemicals safely and wear a respirator when required.
- Perform sample testing in the on-site QC Lab to ensure product quality assurance.
- Be willing to learn and carry out additional departmental tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Maintain punctuality and consistent attendance according to scheduled work shifts.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- College Degree (Preferred).
- General working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).
- Identify equipment issues and write work orders for repairs or maintenance.
- Analytical Skills.
- Ability to innovate and solve problems.
- Clear and concise verbal and written skills.
- Self-starter with strong initiative.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
