What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cashier/Customer Service position at Texas Best Smokehouse?
We’re looking for a friendly and dependable cashier to join our team. You will help customers, and run the register This is a fast-paced job where you’ll meet lots of different people every day.
What You’ll Do:
- Greet customers and be polite and helpful
- Ring up items and handle cash, cards, and other payments
- Keep your area clean and organized
- Help customers with questions
- Check IDs for age-restricted items (like tobacco or alcohol)
- Help with opening or closing the store
What We’re Looking For:
- Friendly and good with people
- Reliable and shows up on time
- Basic math skills
- Willing to work different shifts (days, nights, overnight , weekends)
Work Setting:
- Busy store with travelers and truck drivers
- May include night shifts and weekends
