The Administrative Assistant provides administrative support duties for management and staff of a child support field office. Work involves clerical and technical tasks associated with processing of child support cases. May serve as the liaison for inventory, purchasing, travel, personnel, safety, records management, leave, facilities, and other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications: Education: Graduation from high school or equivalentExperience: Three years of full-time Child Support Program, business administration, complex clerical, secretarial, customer service (or closely related) experience; may substitute bachelorand#8217;s degree from an accredited college or university for the required experience on a year-for-year basisKnowledge of office practices and administrative proceduresSkill in using a computer for word processing and data entry/retrievalSkill in the proper use of punctuation, sentence structure, grammar, and spellingSkill in handling multiple tasks, prioritizing, and meeting deadlinesSkill in effective oral and written communicationSkill in exercising sound judgment and effective decision makingAbility to receive and respond positively to constructive feedbackAbility to work cooperatively with others in a professional office environmentAbility to provide excellent customer serviceAbility to work in person at assigned OAG work location, perform all assigned tasks at designated OAG work space within OAG work location, and perform in-person work with coworkers (e.g., collaborating, training, mentoring) for the entirety of every work eek (unless on approved leave)Ability to arrange for personal transportation for business-related travelAbility to work more than 40 hours as needed and in compliance with the FLSAAbility to lift and relocate 30 lbs.Ability to travel (including overnight travel) up to 5�ility to type 45 words per minute (Typing test required at time of interview)PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSSkills: Using WordPerfect, MS Word, and MS Excel software programsOther Language: Ability to proficiently read, write, and speak SpanishTo apply for a job with the OAG, electronic applications can be submitted through CAPPS Recruit.
