Job Summary
Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of an aquatic facility by
preventing and responding to emergencies.
Texas Aquatic Enterprises is hiring for the following positions for the upcoming
2026 pool season:
- Lifeguard
- Assistant Manager
- Manager
- On-Site Supervisor (One year of experience required)
- Route Supervisors (One year of experience required)
Pools begin opening the first weekend in May and close for the season by the third
weekend in September. We’re looking for lifeguards who can work flexible shifts
throughout the summer, we’re willing to make exceptions for school-related
obligations.
The ideal candidate will have excellent skills in the water; reliable transportation
and prior guarding experience (Prior experience is not a requirement).
Texas Aquatic Enterprises has openings in the following areas of Houston:
· Tomball
· Spring
· Willow brook
· Cypress
· Katy
· Sugarland/Richmond/Rosenberg
· Missouri City
· Alvin
· Greater Houston Area
Responsibilities and Duties
· Maintains constant surveillance of patrons in the facility; acts immediately and
appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.
Skills
Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergencies.
Ability to follow routine verbal and written instructions.
Qualifications
· Current hold of have the ability to obtain a certification as a Lifeguard by the
American Red Cross or a nationally recognized agency.
Training
· TAE Pools offers training to candidates interested in becoming certified
lifeguards.
· Must be at least 15 years of age to work for TAE pools and take the lifeguard/CPR
training class.
