Essential Duties/Tasks
Program Planning and Coordination
- Assists in planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring of assigned and specialized programs and services.
- Coordinates and assists with program communications, meetings, and materials including marketing materials.
- Assists in planning, developing, implementing, coordinating, and monitoring specialized programs such as conferences, seminars, workshops, and meetings to facilitate program goals.
- Assists in the development of policies and procedures for specialized programs and services.
- Monitors ticket queue, categorizes/prioritizes, and resolves known issues.
- Completes established checklist steps under defined procedures for Learning Management System (LMS) templates and shell provisioning.
- Assists in the preparation and maintenance of program and special reports and other documents including pulling basic ticket reports and maintaining trackers/spreadsheets.
- Creates, establishes, and maintains program files, databases, correspondence, and program materials and existing resources including webpages and request forms.
- Schedules sessions, manages registration, sets up online meeting spaces, publishes guides, and delivers “how to” demos using established slide decks.
- Supports other program staff in evaluating the success and impact of specialized programs.
- Attends meetings and conferences to discuss the progress of assigned programs.
- Serves as the first point of contact for program information and coordinates responses to requests for program information via ticketing system, email, and social media.
- Liaises with program participants to ensure all administrative processes are completed correctly.
- Communicates and collaborates with staff on assigned programs.
- Assists in researching comparable programs.
- Stays abreast of engagement trends, updates, and best practices by exploring the use of the learning management system and other tools at peer institutions.
- Participates in activities to enhance job skills and support a personal professional development plan in effort to sustain and evolve proficiency in digital learning environment effective practices.
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in applicable field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- No experience required.
- Foundational understanding of effective practices in leveraging learning management systems and associated learning technologies across various teaching modalities.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and customer service skills.
- Ability to multi-task and work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to work cooperatively with others.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to maintain attention to detail and utilize sound judgment.
- Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications.
