The Department of Mathematics, College of Arts and Sciences at Texas A&M University has openings for multiple non-tenure track, 9-month, visiting faculty positions beginning Fall 2026.
Our Visiting Assistant Professor positions are three-year appointments and carry a three-course per year teaching load, as well as research. These positions are full time for 9 months each of the three academic years beginning Fall 2026. They are intended for those who have recently finished their Ph.D. The area of specialization is open; however, preference will be given to candidates whose research interests are close to those of our existing faculty.
Ph.D. in Mathematics, or related field.
Applicants must submit a cover letter, a CV, and a personal statement to include philosophy and plans for teaching, research, and service (as applicable).
