The Department of Teaching, Learning and Culture (TLAC) encompasses students, faculty, and staff whose efforts and interests center on the many different aspects of academics, teaching and classroom education. One of four departments in the College of Education and Human Development, TLAC is currently home to over 1200 undergraduate students, about 400 graduate students, 47 faculty members and 26 staff members. Qualifications
Required Education and Experience:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- No prior experience required.
- CPR Certified.
- First Aid Certified.
- Experience working with children/ Camp worker experience.
Camp Counselor:
- At the direction of the Camp Director(s), provides instruction, demonstration, and assistance to campers
- Adheres to high standards and serves as a role model for our campers
- Participate in all aspects of camp life
- Assist instructors on campus during the day and will be responsible for keeping campers on-task and engaged during lessons, and panels.
