What are the responsibilities and job description for the Secretary-240 day position at Texarkana School District?
TASD is accepting applications for Secretary for Student Services. Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Must pass a national criminal background check and a background check of the Arkansas Child Maltreatment Central Registry as required by law.
- Must hold a high school diploma or equivalent; two (2) years of college education preferred.
- Must possess two (2) or more years of advanced secretarial/clerical experience with extensive contact with people; school experience preferred.
- Must possess the ability to use a personal computer and software to develop spreadsheets, databases and perform word processing.
- Must possess proficient skills in typing, word processing and file maintenance.
- Must possess a patient and calm demeanor.
- Must possess effective organization, communication and interpersonal skills.
Assist in the promotion of positive community relations through effective email, phone and in person communication with parent/community members, teachers, administrators, and other district personnel.
This is a 240-day (full year) position.
Salary : $25,461 - $39,269
