Responsibilities and Duties
Responsibilities and Duties
- Lead the charge for ensuring all employees, customers, and visitors understand the importance of 100% safety compliance and maintaining an injury free workplace
- Program and troubleshoot Allen-Bradley (ControlLogix/CompactLogix/GuardLogix), Siemens (TIA Portal), or Beckhoff PLC platform
- Project management including scope development, budgeting, execution and documentation of electrical and automation projects
- Specifying, setup, and troubleshooting of variable frequency AC drives, DC motor drives, and motor control centers
- Promote and develop preventative maintenance procedures of electrical & automation equipment
- Lead root-cause analysis of electrical downtime using tools such as historians, meters, and thermal imaging
- Maintain arc flash & coordination studies, NFPA 70E and NFPA 70B compliance
- HMI/ SCADA development and modification
- Develop, troubleshoot, and modify manufacturing execution system interfaces (MES)
- Maintain and modify historians
Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering
- 3 years of industrial automation experience or 10 years industrial automation experience with no degree
Preferred Skills:
- Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, CompactLogix, & GuardLogix programming and troubleshooting
- Siemens S7-1500 programming and troubleshooting
- FactoryTalk (SE/ME), Simatic, or Ignition HMI experience
- Siemens and Allen-Bradley drives experience
- Medium and low voltage switchgear troubleshooting and maintenance experience
- Iba or OSI PI historian experience
- Strong device networking skills
